Revised 20 September,2010

Turning off I-70 at Fernly I found this sign marking the 'Lincoln Highway', colored signs and markers were used in the early part of the 1900's so motorist could follow the numerous highways that crisscrossed America, if you could call them highways. Now I have this book review I’m submitting to the IBA Magazine but I need some pictures to go with it, well right there on NV-427 was a Lincoln Highway three color sign, so a couple of U-turns and I had the picture for future use.

NV-447 to Gerlach was kinda boring, check out the eye balls painted on this rock formation.
