Hello Everyone,
I hope I have better luck Emailing all of you this time, I had over half of the Emails return with Undelivered notices. I need to find a better way or change Email host. All of my Newsletters are accessible on my Website. And speaking of my Website I had to change Web Host as NBCi.com stopped hosting free websites. I have changed to www.homestead.com at the above address. I have played with the fonts on the new Website so to make it easier to read. The biggest change is that I added an Classified Ad page, NBCi didn't allow selling items on its free host sites. On this page you can place free ads if you are looking for something or have some stuff to sell. I have some items that I have purchased or had made to resell. I'm not spamming you, just letting you know it's there. I visited the York County Heritage Trust Industrial & Agricultural Museum in York Pennsylvania, there I offered to find a Frazer Rototiller "Made in York" and donate it to the museum. If you have a "York Made" Rototiller that is complete, need not run but not a basket case and are interested in getting rid of it, please contact me. Also if you have extra copies of Frazer literature with the York name on it please contact them or me. 250 E. Market Street York, PA. 17403 717-848-1587 The Industrial & Agricultural Museum is located at: York, Pa. |
I'm not the only one with a new Website address, Michiel Hooijberg of The Netherlands new address is www.bungartz.nl and his new Email address is michiel@bungartz.nl You all have heard of the Foot and Mouth disease in England, because of it many tractor shows and motorcycle rallyes has been cancelled. I'm a member of the "Vintage Horticultural & Garden Machinery Club" in England these boys seem to have a lot of fun at shows playing in the dirt ploughing and tilling. Also by now most of you have heard about the Steam Tractor explosion in Medina Ohio, the initial reports are pointing to a defective safety valve. We don't have to worry about an boiler explosion with one of our rototillers but there are safety concerns we need to watch out for. 1. Make sure your machine is oiled and adjusted properly 2. Make sure all controls are in proper working order 3. Never refuel a running machine, Gasoline is Very Flammable. 4. Keep Hands and Feet away from all moving parts, tines, and belts. 5. Never run the miller with the hood or flaps removed. 6. If you are using an attachment such as a snow/dozer blade or lawn mower that doesn't require the tines, remove them as recommended by the manufacturer. 7. Break new ground by making numerous passes going deeper each pass. 8. Stop the engine when removing debris from the tines. Please Don't let Children Play On or Operate Your Machinery. Keep Children Away From Operating Machinery. More Children Who Live On Farms Die From Machinery Accidents Then Any Other reason. |
